I can easily recall one album that sent chills down my spine the first time I listened to it very carefully, because it was SO good telling an epic story with electronic just sounds, and no voice-samples. It's called 'The Mystery of the Yeti'.
I just lay on my coach, and the music took me on a wild trip to find the Yeti in the Himalayas. But it's a necessity to listen to it from start 'till end. And psychedelics can't hurt too. :p
Other favourites:
- Solar Fields
- Biosphere
and offcourse
- Shpongle
